Bogan HeadlinesKindergarten Orientation PresentationReview Bogan's kindergarten orientation presentation here Muuvit Update from Oxford, OH, USA
The students in the Talawanda School District have been traveling the map at a quick pace, thanks to the many “miles” they are accumulating through physical activity! Several of our pilot classes had the opportunity to interact with athletes from Miami University who took them through drills that they do on a regular basis for their specific sport. In addition, some classes have utilized the Muuvit program to learn more about the culture in the countries that they are traveling to, including sampling foods and learning the customs and traditions of the people who live in Europe. Thanks to McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, each child will receive a pedometer to help track their activity in a new way and encourage them to keep moving while they are home for a week on spring break. We have some exciting plans for our celebration at the end of the adventure. We appreciate all of the many community partners who have supported the Muuvit program and continue to support the health and wellness of Talawanda students. Wax Museum at Bogan
Bogan 5th graders participated in a Wax Museum in Ms. Schuster's class. The students spent a month preparing research, essays, and speeches. The students then dressed up as a famous person from history and took their places in the Wax Museum. Students had to remain frozen until a visitor pushed their button. The student then gave a short speech as their famous person.
