Talawanda School District 2007-08 ACT Test Results

The Ohio Department of Education began adding ACT scores and other data about college readiness to school districts' report cards a year ago. Parents and others can look beyond the Ohio Graduation Test scores and graduation rates to evaluate high schools' performance with its students. Are Talawanda students ready for college? While our students will pursue a variety of paths after high school, we believe that with a rigorous curriculum and high expectations from teachers, all of our students should be prepared for college and work. Through collaborative research with post secondary institutions nationwide, ACT has established benchmark scores for success in college courses. We are happy to share that Talawanda students fare well when compared with other Ohio students.
